Leopard orange muffins
This recipe is a replica of a cake I made some time ago. I used the recipe for Jaffa cake by Mira Rumenova, but at the request of my daughter I baked them in muffin molds and they became very interesting and beautiful. Here’s what came out – amazing little leopards! 🙂

However, I am going to offer you something different that we can do with this sweet type of dough – CRUFFINS. The word comes from the combination of “croissant” and “muffins” and that’s how we get these beauties. I saw the idea from the recipe for “Easter Kraffin” from a Russian culinary site by Tanya Shpilko. She prepares them in larger paper forms. I decided to bake them in muffin molds.
