Prepare a baking pan suitable for the amount of chicken and potatoes you are going to cook.
Wash and clean the meat from excess feathers, skins, veins and other unpleasant and inedible parts of the chicken. Arrange it well in the prepared tray.
Here, however, I must note that this is the cooking procedure if the chicken is bought from the store. If the meat is from a domestic animal, you must pre-cook (boil) the meat, because it is tougher and definitely needs a longer heat treatment.

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into medium-thick half-moons.
Put them in the pan with the chicken.

Sprinkle with spices.

Add the oil and water.

Mix everything very well to give flavor both the meat and the potatoes.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 45-50 minutes at 180 degrees until the chicken and potatoes are finally cooked. Then remove the foil and bake at about 200 degrees for about 15 minutes until the dish gets a beautiful golden tan.
Enjoy! :)
