Turkish delight balls – recipe
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
Melt the lard and pour into a bowl. Mix the soda with the yogurt and let it rise for about 15 seconds, then pour it into the bowl.

Start adding flour until a soft dough is obtained.

Not necessary to knead.

Cut the Turkish delight into small pieces sized about 1 cm. If you want walnuts in the balls, cut them too, but not too big to be difficult to put them in the ball (no longer than 1 cm.)

To make the balls take a small piece from the dough as big as a walnut and in the middle place a piece of the Turkish delight and a piece of the walnut.

Give a good round shape to the ball well and put it in a baking tray. There is no need to smear it or put baking paper.
Bake at 180-190 degrees for about 15 minutes until the balls turn very slightly brown.

When ready and while they are still warm, roll them in the powder sugar, mixed with the vanilla.

If I can do it, so can you!
Bon appetit!
